East Salford project Grow Cook Eat visit a market garden in Sale, Glebelands to pick up tips for their Urban Guerilla gardening plans to transform the alleyways of Salford
On August 4th the nation celebrated National Play Day, an annual free event held to celebrate children’s right to play.
All around the country fun days were organised for each local community to come along to, including the event held at Douglas Green organised by new deal for communities.
Sew Sow at the energise. The group of about 12 people meet to quilt and sew and share skills and ideas with each other. The gathering is informal and is open to both inexperienced and skilled sewers. The group meet twice each month at St Sebastians on douglass green, the centre is bus stop adjecent. For those who need it child care can be provided by big steps playgroup.
