A curry evening and a show. at the angel in salford

Mind in salford and the angel. On the 6th june from 6 pm till 9pm.and the venue put on a special evening. At the angel in salford. to promotet mentel helth for men.as men are moor lickly not to get help .if thay ar sufering mental ill health.

And dur to this fact. We in salford ar trying to show this needs to be highlighted to men . That if one gets help/ from ones GP early . it can make a great diferance in ones recovery. to beeing able to get one with ones normal life,

New Broughton Residents Association

New Broughton Residents Association. This residents association deals with community issues for the residents who live in the new houses managed by contour, (the triangle off of Camp street, Broughton lane and Great Clowed street.) Their focus is local issues relevant to Lower Broughton and the estate. They meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm at the Church of the Nazarene.

Sew Sow

Sew Sow at the energise. The group of about 12 people meet to quilt and sew and share skills and ideas with each other. The gathering is informal and is open to both inexperienced and skilled sewers. The group meet twice each month at St Sebastians on douglass green, the centre is bus stop adjecent. For those who need it child care can be provided by big steps playgroup.

Manchester Cathedral Visit

On 25th July the history group went to Manchester Cathedral for a look around.

Photography at the angel

Perfect for new learners who want a good grounding in Photography. This group meets on a thursday at 2.00 - 4.00pm at th angel healthy living centre. There is a cost towards the expenses of the tutor. There is an excellent cafe open from 12.00 - 2.00pm serving lunches and refreshments.
