New Salford E-Learning Course Aims to Address Worldwide Shortage of Industrial and Commercial Combustion Engineers

The lack of an independent training and qualification regime has stymied the burner manufacturing and service industry for years, but now the University of Salford and ACE Combustion Training have developed a new E-Learning training and qualification course for industrial and commercial combustion engineering that will bridge the long standing void.

People's growing network

A network linking local residents and organistations that are interested in growing food and horticulture. Initially covering Charlestown and Lower Kersal and aiming to widen out to East Salford then Salford wide. Aims of the network: Sharing resources, skills and knowledge and growing experiences and supporting other growers. ‘People Growing Together'.

Grow Cook Eat Harvest Event

On Saturday 19th September 1-4pm at St Sebastians Community Centre.
Aim of the event is to celebrate growing achievements this year, in particular the growing in alleys, to launch the Peoples Growing Network and to encourage residents interested in growing to link up and support each other. There will be growing skills workshops, film screenings, other fun activities TBA.
