Groundwork are due to start their sixth Successful transitions course to be run in the NDC area on Thursday 24th of September. The course is for you, if you’re an out of work adults and will help you gain confidence and motivation and access positive activities including further learning, volunteering and jobs!!!

ADHD Group

The Adhd group is a support group for parents whose children have ADHD, Aspergers, or an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.  The parents meet to share and learn from each others experiences.

Retracing Salford

Saturday Feb 14, a new gallery opened with Family photos of salford folk,what memories were stired up. the Street maps had people talking, remembering who lived where,new friendships were built that afternoon, Thanks to all who got it all together, well done

A Party for Betty

Betty Yardley was 90 on the 4th Feb 09, a lovely lady who served in the Wrens during the war years, so happy birthday Betty,

a good friend to many many people, and many people were invited to her party on Sat 7th, every one enjoyed themselves  the dancing and buffet  were great,thanks for the invite,Betty, already looking forward to next year’s party

Barrow Street Community Centre.

Barrow street community centre. This community centre is based as part of St Philips School and offers a range of sessions for anyone to participate in. Open to all residents regardless of school. On Wednesdays 1:00pm - 3:00pm there is an NVQ in learning support. On Thursdays 1:30pm - 3:00pm there is a B Tec course run by Pendleton College. On Fridays 10:00am - 12:00pm there is a stay and play session.
