Come along and sing

Open Mic Night. That means you can come along, stand up to the microphone and have a turn. All styles welcome, including solo, duo and group. Bring your guitar and plug in or borrow one of those already there. Bang a drum or a tambourine, click your heels and rattle your spoons.

An afternoon at the Lowry to see a band that took us down memory lane,the music was great, wished they had played more,I know the script was supposed to be funny but I could not hear all the wise cracks,the acting remineds me of school plays,they made it up with the music it was excellent,
a good afternoon

On Friday 16th January 2009 at The Studio in the Lowry /theatre, Janet Kent was awarded the "Community Initiatives and Enterprise Star" at Salix Homes' first Salford Star Awards ceremony.

Community Reporters course!

We are starting a new Community Reporters Course at the Salford office starting on Wednesday 14th April 2010 at 1pm.

It is for 1 afternoon a week, and lasts for 10 weeks.
