The group is ideal for local parents with small children who as of yet are not attending school. Their is often loads of toys and craft equipment for children to use and play with.

Important Info

The toddler group for new born and pre-school meets every Monday and Thursday from 9.00 - 11.00 at St Sebastian centre. There is a cafe for those who want breakfast or staying on for lunch at 12.00pm

SUCCESSFUL TRANSITIONS IN LOWER KERSAL

SUCCESSFUL TRANSITIONS IN LOWER KERSAL: Groundwork are due to start their fifth Successful transitions course to be run in the NDC area on Thursday 14th of May. The course is for out of work adults and helps them gain confidence and motivation and access positive activities including further learning, volunteering and jobs!!!

The course runs for 12 weeks on Thursday and Friday mornings from 9.30-12.30. It will be running at the Lower Kersal Centre on Northallerton Road and there will be an on-site crèche, refreshments and travel expenses provided. Anyone completing the course will receive a £50 payment in High Street Vouchers and a guaranteed interview for a paid work placement in the work area of their choice!!

Lower Kersal Young Peoples Group (Allotments)

Gardening at the LKYPG. About 10 local teenagers aged between 113-19 meet to enjoy some shared
activties. On a thursday it is maintaning their garden on Littleton
Road Allotments. The group meets at 3:30pm - 6:00pm at St Aidens Church.

Gardening Group at Ordsall Community Cafe

Every Thursday from 3.30pm till 5pm

Pick up some tips on how to make your blooms bigger, how to plant your hanging baskets, what to feed your plants on and how often; even how to keep those slugs away.

Review of Salford Arts Theatre production

We spent a memorable evening at Salford Arts Theatre last Friday evening .We were watching the play "Watch her now, An evening with Charlotte Bronte".

Albert's of Salford Senior youth club

The club runs in Albert park changing rooms, (next to the all weather pitch) and is especially suitable for over 14-25. Usually a mixture of activities are offered from sports coaching, to access to a games room that includes playstations, pool and table tennis tables, and laptops with internet access. Employed staff run the session.
The club runs on a Friday 6.00pm to 9.00pm
