ADHD Group

The Adhd group is a support group for parents whose children have ADHD, Aspergers, or an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.  The parents meet to share and learn from each others experiences.

Albert's of Salford Family club

Albert's of Salford Family club-

The club runs in Albert park changing rooms, (next to the all weather pitch) and is especially suitable for under 11's and their parents. Usually a mixture of activities are offered from sports, to craft, and access to a games room that includes playstations, pool and table tennis tables, and laptops with internet access. The sessions are run by employed staff and they are parents and children. The club runs Monday to Thursdays 3.30pm - 5.00pm with nacro running a session for girls on a Tuesday

 

Albert's of Salford Junior club

The club runs in Albert park changing rooms, (next to the all weather pitch) and especially suitable for 7-14 year olds. Usually a mixture of activities are offered from sports, to craft, and access to a games room that includes playstations, pool and table tennis tables, and laptops with internet access. The sessions are run by employed staff.

Albert's of Salford Senior youth club

The club runs in Albert park changing rooms, (next to the all weather pitch) and is especially suitable for over 14-25. Usually a mixture of activities are offered from sports coaching, to access to a games room that includes playstations, pool and table tennis tables, and laptops with internet access. Employed staff run the session.
The club runs on a Friday 6.00pm to 9.00pm

Art for beginners

An arts based group that is open to anyone who wants to explore their as of yet untapped creative streak. The group meets every Monday at 10.30 - 12.30 at the broughton resource centre.

Art for fun

Art for the over 50's women at Broughton resource centre.
The group meets every Monday at 1.00pm for 2 hours at the broughton resource centre.

Art for fun 2

The group meets every week to explore an art topic, offering encouragement to members in whatever difficulties they are facing.

Arts and craft at the angel.

New group open to anyone regardless of ability.

Bang Drum

Bang drum at the angel. The group has about 20 people who attend and spend a couple of hours practicing for drumming performances. The group is made up of people from many places and nationalities and caters from novice and experienced percussionists. The group meets at the Angel Healthy living centre (the old eye hospital) every Thursday at 7:30pm - 9:30pm. There is a bus stop around the corner for travel access.

Community Reporters course!

We are starting a new Community Reporters Course at the Salford office starting on Wednesday 14th April 2010 at 1pm.

It is for 1 afternoon a week, and lasts for 10 weeks.

Ceramics at the broughton resource centre

Ceramics at the broughton resource centre. This group offers a variety of pottery making worskshops and it is in partnership with Salford City College, Worsley campus. Sessions run on Tuesday 1:00pm - 3:00pm at the Broughton Resource Centre

Tiny Tots creche (Vision Building)

Tiny Tots Crech. A centre that offers full day care, supported by volunteers and run by qualified staff. A wide range of structured and free play oppurtunities on offer. Nursery is open from 7:30 - 6:30 Monday to Friday. The cost is undetermined.

Yoga at the angel

Yoga at the angel healthy living centre. The group has around 10 attendees, the group is made up of people with a wide range of abilities. The sessions usually include stretching exercises and breathing techniques. The group meets twice a week. On a Monday at 12.30 - 2.30 and on a Friday from 1.00 - 3.00 at the angel healthy living centre.
