Morrissey's 50th Birthday @ Salford Lads Club by Tony Thornborough At the iconic Salford Lads Club, fans from all over the globe, from Mexico, America, Sweden, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Canada, Scotland, Ireland and Salford came together to celebrate Morrissey's 50th birthday.

project. More than 20 different artists and bands played in 18
different locations to raise money and awareness about destitute
refugees. The project was part of the Futuresonic festival.

Thingumabob and the Thingumajigs at the Eurocultured festival - SalfordOnline.com : With a band name like this and songs about rabbits and imaginary bears, you would expect everything T&T do to be narcotically-induced. But not only do they have rabidly passionate fans, they put on an amazing show, injecting some life and humour into a scene that often takes itself far too seriously.
