Welcome to The Albion Specialist Maths and Computing College's community website. Albion Radio is a project aimed at providing Albion staff and pupils with a forum for communication and to help promote the work and abundant talent of our staff and students.

Launched in April 2009, Albion Radio has now produced 5 shows. Each show has given staff and pupils the opportunity to  perform and promote various aspects of life anf learning at The Albion  Maths and Computing College.

This website has been developed and produced by Year 8, 9 and 10 pupils in conjunction with a number of media professionals based at The Innovation Forum in East Salford.

In July 2009 the school organised a Love to Learn week which celebrated the cultural diversity of our community. Pupils and staff worked on fun, creative and practical projects across the curriculum and some of the results of their work can be found on this website which celebrates the dedication and talent of our community.

We hope you enjoy it!

TESCO - a rip-off???

About two weeks ago I went into the Tesco store in Salford.
(If you don’t know where Salford is it is part of Greater Manchester Metropolitan Area.)

I must have an anal retentive memory but the previous day I noticed
that there was a large box containing potatoes, each bag costing 78p.
Today’s price was £1.50 per bag!
