Tiny Tots creche (Vision Building)

Tiny Tots Crech. A centre that offers full day care, supported by volunteers and run by qualified staff. A wide range of structured and free play oppurtunities on offer. Nursery is open from 7:30 - 6:30 Monday to Friday. The cost is undetermined.

Arts and craft at the angel.

New group open to anyone regardless of ability.

Bang Drum

Bang drum at the angel. The group has about 20 people who attend and spend a couple of hours practicing for drumming performances. The group is made up of people from many places and nationalities and caters from novice and experienced percussionists. The group meets at the Angel Healthy living centre (the old eye hospital) every Thursday at 7:30pm - 9:30pm. There is a bus stop around the corner for travel access.

People's growing network

People's growing network

A network linking local residents and organistations that are interested in growing food and horticulture. Initially covering Charlestown and Lower Kersal and aiming to widen out to East Salford then Salford wide. Aims of the network: Sharing resources, skills and knowledge and growing experiences and supporting other growers. ‘People Growing Together'.

Grow Cook Eat Harvest Event

On Saturday 19th September 1-4pm at St Sebastians Community Centre.
Aim of the event is to celebrate growing achievements this year, in particular the growing in alleys, to launch the Peoples Growing Network and to encourage residents interested in growing to link up and support each other. There will be growing skills workshops, film screenings, other fun activities TBA.
