Craft Group at the broughton resource centre.

Craft group. based at the Broughton Resource Centre, a teacher supports the class and the group usually explored and makes an item based around paper craft. The group meets every friday at 10:00am till 12:00pm at the Broughton Resource Centre and is open to anyone aged over 50

Ceramics at the broughton resource centre

Ceramics at the broughton resource centre. This group offers a variety of pottery making worskshops and it is in partnership with Salford City College, Worsley campus. Sessions run on Tuesday 1:00pm - 3:00pm at the Broughton Resource Centre

A resource base where you can access play training and all sorts of resources for play. The centre is open from 10:00am - 5:00pm

Migrant Workers support group.
The group meets for support every wednesday from 2:30 - 5:00pm at the broughton resource centre.

Creative start 50 plus

Share skills and learn new ones in photography techniques. The group is led by a trained teacher and meets share skills and learn new photography techniques. Groyo meets every Friday at 10.00am till 12.00pm at the broughton resource centre. And is open to any one over 50 whatever their photography skill and experience.

Art for fun

The group meets every Monday at 1.00pm for 2 hours at the broughton resource centre.

Floral Artistry

Demonstrating how to make and prepare floral arrangements. It is on a Monday at 10.00 till 12.00 at the broughton resource centre on the corner of great cheetam street and bury new road opposite McDonalds.

Literacy course at the resource centre

Literary course at Broughton resource centre. The course has usually 8-10 attendees and is led by an experienced tutor from Pendleton college. The group is often made up of newer residents to broughton and meet every wednesday and thursday at 10.00 at the Broughton resource centre on the corner of bury new road and great cheetam street opposite McDonalds.

Art for beginners

An arts based group that is open to anyone who wants to explore their as of yet untapped creative streak. The group meets every Monday at 10.30 - 12.30 at the broughton resource centre.

Salford film

On the 15th Jan 09 there was a film about the last 100 years of Salford,it was shown to a full house at the Salford theatre on Liverpool St,
It was a collection of nine short films,
The first was of a charity parade made in 1901 people having fun in fancy dress

St Sebastians sequence dancing

Sequence dancing at St Sebastians.St Sebastians sequence dancing is held at st sebastians, and is a friendly, fun way to learn the art of dancing for people aged 30+ Couples dancers and single's welcome. Held at St Sebastians Mon - Thu from 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Lower Kersal Young Peoples Group (Allotments)

Gardening at the LKYPG. About 10 local teenagers aged between 113-19 meet to enjoy some shared
activties. On a thursday it is maintaning their garden on Littleton
Road Allotments. The group meets at 3:30pm - 6:00pm at St Aidens Church.

U Can Volunteer Event

On Saturday 20th September I attended an event at St Sebastians, with a Social Media Centre volunteer, to promote the range of volunteering opportunities that are available for people in the local area.
