Friends of Albert Park

We are a community group aiming to regenerate our neighbourhood Victorian Park and to improve it for the enjoyment of our community.Albert Park is in Lower Broughton, Salford.  It is is also at the centre of an area which over the next 10 years will see huge redevelopment and regeneration.We want to park to be the centre of the regeneration of our community. friends  of  albert park looking  for  your  support

Participatory Budget Event

On Tuesday the 31st August New Deal in communities held a climate change event, the primary reason for the event was to decide which group would receive funding from the NDC through the participatory budget.

 

 

 

Yoghurt Pot Childcare Services.

The Creche runs all day, with parents able to drop their children off for various sessions. The creche runs a variety of activities for its children from sand and water play, to painting and making arts and crafts.

We have the following vacancy for a Cleaning Operative to keep the Council’s premises clean on a daily basis. Duties will include cleaning, buffing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning and other general domestic cleaning duties. Previous experience will be an advantage, but not essential, as training will be given. National Play Day at Douglas Green

On August 4th the nation celebrated National Play Day, an annual free event held to celebrate children’s right to play.
All around the country fun days were organised for each local community to come along to, including the event held at Douglas Green organised by new deal for communities.
