Learn how to update the East Salford Website

We are running short training sessions to train people from community
groups, local agency workers and other organisations how to put their
information on the website. We think it will take about 30-45 minutes to let you know how to do it.

Tiny Tots (Nazarene. A playgroup for about twenty 2/3 year olds, supported by volunteers and run by qualified staff. A wide range of structured and free play opportunities on offer. Open Tuesday to Fiday from 9:30 - 12:00 at the Church of the Nazarene on Great Clowes Street. The cost per child is undetermined.

Cooking WIth the LKYP. About 10 local teenagers aged between 13-19 meet to enjoy some shared activities, cooking being on a Monday. The group meets at St Aidans Church on Littleton Road from 6:00pm - 8:00pm

In the Land of the Black Pudding

In the Land of the Black Pudding is a three part documentary for the Internet. It's about United FC at the end of the season and some of the culture that surrounds it. Community Reporter Colin Blaney takes us on a journey up North away from the old Reds into the Land of United FC who split away from Manchester United with it was taken over by David Glazer. This games sees United FC playing for a chance to go up a league.
The report is in three parts to make sure that each part is small enought to go up on YouTube. We've imported the videos to our site - see part one - part two and part three here.

Best feet forward as North West pupils say goodbye to the school run

Primary school children across the North West are swapping their parents' cars for the pavement thanks to a share of £1.8m of Government money: 361 schools in the region have been awarded up to £1,000 to encourage pupils to walk to school, helping them to keep fit and reducing the number of journeys made by car.
