New Broughton Residents Association

New Broughton Residents Association. This residents association deals with community issues for the residents who live in the new houses managed by contour, (the triangle off of Camp street, Broughton lane and Great Clowed street.) Their focus is local issues relevant to Lower Broughton and the estate. They meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm at the Church of the Nazarene.

The last gig at Ordsall Hall is to be performed by the Ordsall Accapella singers. It's a chance to take advantage of the great acoustics of the space before it closes for refurbishment for a couple of years.

Retracing Salford

Saturday Feb 14, a new gallery opened with Family photos of salford folk,what memories were stired up. the Street maps had people talking, remembering who lived where,new friendships were built that afternoon, Thanks to all who got it all together, well done

Creativity group at the Energise Centre Charlestown

This small group meets to explore a range of creative topics. Topics
have included creative writing, drawing and painting, poetry reading
and film appreciation. The groups are often facilitated by an arts
worker.  The group meets every Monday at the energise healthy living centre from 10.00am to 1.00pm

Bang Drum

Bang drum at the angel. The group has about 20 people who attend and spend a couple of hours practicing for drumming performances. The group is made up of people from many places and nationalities and caters from novice and experienced percussionists. The group meets at the Angel Healthy living centre (the old eye hospital) every Thursday at 7:30pm - 9:30pm. There is a bus stop around the corner for travel access.

Successful Transitions - The Course for you!


Groundwork are due to start their sixth Successful transitions course to be run in the NDC area on Thursday 24th of September. The course is for you, if you're an out of work adults and will help you gain confidence and motivation and access positive activities including further learning, volunteering and jobs!!!
