Morris Dancing at Lower Kersal Centre and St Georges

Morris Dancing Morris dancing groups held at both the Lower Kersal Centre & St Georges. Wednesday session is at the Lower Kersal Centre & it is for juniors & seniors from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Thursday session is at St Georges day centre and is for 3 - 11 year olds from 6:00pm - 8:00pm

New Broughton Residents Association

New Broughton Residents Association. This residents association deals with community issues for the residents who live in the new houses managed by contour, (the triangle off of Camp street, Broughton lane and Great Clowed street.) Their focus is local issues relevant to Lower Broughton and the estate. They meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm at the Church of the Nazarene.

People's growing network

People's growing network

A network linking local residents and organistations that are interested in growing food and horticulture. Initially covering Charlestown and Lower Kersal and aiming to widen out to East Salford then Salford wide. Aims of the network: Sharing resources, skills and knowledge and growing experiences and supporting other growers. ‘People Growing Together'.

Grow Cook Eat Harvest Event

On Saturday 19th September 1-4pm at St Sebastians Community Centre.
Aim of the event is to celebrate growing achievements this year, in particular the growing in alleys, to launch the Peoples Growing Network and to encourage residents interested in growing to link up and support each other. There will be growing skills workshops, film screenings, other fun activities TBA.

This small group of women only meets to support one another and explore a range of creative topics. The group shares experiences of being from other countries and living in multi-cultural Salford. The group meets every Friday at the willows healthy living centre 12.00am to 2.00pm
