Working Class Movement Library by Salford LIDS

Cover (front)

It's a Library, but there's a long history of how the Working Class
Movement Library got started, and eventually moved into its home on
Salford Crescent. Even more strange, students from Salford University
decided to write a play about it. Along the way, they found out stuff
they didn't know.

Reporter Jane went along to watch the play and interview the director, the actors and the writer.

Screaming Green

Screaming Green was founded in 2006 by staff and students from the University of Salford's volunteering project, volunteering@salford. The project was conceived from a desire to fill the gap between theory and practice in environmental courses at the University of Salford, and to contribute to improving the environment in the city.
