A curry evening and a show. at the angel in salford

Mind in salford and the angel. On the 6th june from 6 pm till 9pm.and the venue put on a special evening. At the angel in salford. to promotet mentel helth for men.as men are moor lickly not to get help .if thay ar sufering mental ill health.

And dur to this fact. We in salford ar trying to show this needs to be highlighted to men . That if one gets help/ from ones GP early . it can make a great diferance in ones recovery. to beeing able to get one with ones normal life,

ADHD Group

The Adhd group is a support group for parents whose children have ADHD, Aspergers, or an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.  The parents meet to share and learn from each others experiences.

People's growing network

A network linking local residents and organistations that are interested in growing food and horticulture. Initially covering Charlestown and Lower Kersal and aiming to widen out to East Salford then Salford wide. Aims of the network: Sharing resources, skills and knowledge and growing experiences and supporting other growers. ‘People Growing Together'.

Grow Cook Eat Harvest Event

On Saturday 19th September 1-4pm at St Sebastians Community Centre.
Aim of the event is to celebrate growing achievements this year, in particular the growing in alleys, to launch the Peoples Growing Network and to encourage residents interested in growing to link up and support each other. There will be growing skills workshops, film screenings, other fun activities TBA.

Bang Drum

Bang drum at the angel. The group has about 20 people who attend and spend a couple of hours practicing for drumming performances. The group is made up of people from many places and nationalities and caters from novice and experienced percussionists. The group meets at the Angel Healthy living centre (the old eye hospital) every Thursday at 7:30pm - 9:30pm. There is a bus stop around the corner for travel access.

W.O.W (Women of the world)

This small group of women only meets to support one another and explore a range of creative topics. The group shares experiences of being from other countries and living in multi-cultural Salford. The group meets every Friday at the willows healthy living centre 12.00am to 2.00pm
