Yes, Rudman Street in Ordsall was found to have 350 kids living in its short length, back in 1959. Of course, the local newspaper had to exaggerate. Still, it was a lot of kids, and times were hard. What can that tell us about making the most of life, in these, most recent 'hard' times? Perhap people then had a different way of looking at things.....
